I’m going to be all over. Well, kind of all over. I’ll be all over the Midwest. I’ll also be in Texas. And in a day or so, I’ll be in Las Vegas for almost a week. Lot’s of driving, except to Vegas. Gonna fly there, natch. While I’m doing all this traveling over the next 6 or 7 weeks, I’m going to try and turn it into a craft beer tour. Sound interesting? I think so and I hope I can make it work.
The Magic of Craft Beers
Please understand, I’m not traveling just to drink craft beers. Not this time. Will that time come? Sure, when my other work settles down a bit. My other work and the reason for all this traveling is for me to do magic gigs. Yeah, if you’ve never read my info here on Things Men Buy then you wouldn’t know that I’m a magician. That work requires a bunch of travel. Often, I have enough breaks in the action to check out craft beer breweries and pubs where ever I’m at. Nice bonus, eh.
So, my magic gig/travel schedule is absolutely insane for most of the next couple months which means I’m hoping to be able to hit some towns during my tour that have either local breweries or craft beer bars that feature some area or regional brews. You may be thinking that is combining business and pleasure. Well, you are absolutely right.
John’s Craft Beer Tour…Attempt.
I mean why not try to loosely make it a craft beer tour? I’m going to be visiting new areas and also areas I’ve not been to before. What better opportunity to lift a pint or two or, knowing me, more while getting some pics and writing some reviews about the beers I’m drinking and the places where I’m drinking these tasty craft beers?
It just seems like a genuine opportunity for me to hit a bunch of places in a short amount of time and relay what I find to everyone here at thingsmenbuy.com. I’m hoping that you’ll enjoy finding out about the craft beers that I’ll be drinking and finding out about the breweries, bars, etc. that I manage to find and drink in during my travels. Maybe you’ll become interested in some of the beers I find and seek them out yourself. I think that would be fantastic!
Helping You to Craft Your Own Beer Tour
Maybe you’ll like what I have to say about the area or at least a local brewery or craft pub and want to visit it yourself. If that’s the case, all I can say is, “Wow!” I mean that would really make me feel like I’ve contributed something useful and have helped you have a good time.
A good time is what craft beer is all about to me. It is good adult fun. New beers mean new flavors, new tasting adventures, and swapping your reactions to the primo suds with others. Visiting new places or traveling so that you can check out craft beer scenes is great fun too. And when you’re doing that, you’re doing your very own craft beer tour! More awesomeness.
Wish Me Beer Tour Luck!
Please remember to stay tuned. Las Vegas is my first craft beer tour destination. I’ll be hitting Las Vegas as best I can and I am certain I can find some interesting craft brews and local or craft-oriented beer serving joints that will be worthy of your attention. That’s my goal. Let me know how I do in the upcoming weeks.
As always, my friends, cheers!
