One of the most feared pitchers when he was on point that I can remember was Dontrelle “D Train” Willis. I had just moved to South Florida when Dontrelle was a dominating pitcher for the Florida Marlins (now called the Miami Marlins) team that won the 2003 World Series.
In fact, one of my fondest memories of going to Marlins games was the one where they handed had the “D Train Semiconductor Hat Night.” Of course, I lost mine being drunk in South Beach, but I was young and dumb. I’d never do that now. Would I?
Did you know he has his own version of Nike Shoes? Yep, he’s up there with Kobe Bryant and these ones. That’s a big move for a baseball player back then.

Made by Nike, these shoes are AWESOME. I didn’t even know they existed, but when typing in my usual eBay string “Nike size 10 rare” I found them, and instantly bought them.
These shoes are so unique that I’ve never seen anyone wear them. In fact, I couldn’t find any other sellers anwhere selling these shoes. These are a collectors item, and a collector of rare shoes is exactly what I am. Take a peek and let me know if you like them!
