Hey Guys,

Update for you all here so nobody freaks out. While this place MAY – OR MAY NOT go through with it’s new plans, the current business model, as you all know it, is the same.

BUSINESS AS USUAL.

No need to be alarmed, This was a real story that ran and was checked out by locals. However, after it continuing to operate for several months in it’s old format, I re-connected with a bartender who said it’s business as usual.

So while plans mentioned above may be carried out, you can know that it’s still operational selling dreams (err – renting) as it always did.

Blue Marlin Bar at the Hotel Del Rey…had many great times there for sure, but my favorite place in San Jose was definitely the PARK HOTEL!!
I miss that friggin place. Every Friday and Saturday night, Wild Bill (owner) would lock the doors, close the curtains and for a mere 3,000 Colones, ($8 in the mid-late 90’s) his girls put on their world famous Puta Show. It was off the hook for sure.
A few days at the Park Hotel and it was off to Playa Montezuma (beach town located southeastern tip of Nicoya Peninsula).
I stay away from Jaco…it’s a den of theives.
